Stop Ten - The Brady House

Yep, the Brady House! Chris found it a couple years ago, and since then, he drives by it frequently on his way home from work, when he's trying to avoid heavy rush-hour traffic. I've seen pictures of it on the 'net, and even though they put that fence around it (supposedly, people would run up and look in the window to see if the inside is the same as the set!) it still looks like it did all those times we saw it on the little black and white TV sitting on the radiator in the kitchen, just as we were sitting down to dinner all those years ago. I know that the current owners value their privacy (which is why I don't have the Google Map link on this page), but we had to run out and get a picture in front of the place.

And here's something that you don't see much: the Brady neighbors!

As I mentioned above, I've seen several recent pictures of the house on the 'net, but I've never seen a picture of the driveway. Usually people are trying to replicate that opening shot from the show, but I was wondering if they actually had a driveway. Much to my suprise, they not only had a driveway, they also have a garage. And the garage looks remarkably like the one on the show! It's a lot closer to the house than the one on the set of the show, and I'm sure they don't have the astroturf lawn that the Bradys had, but the garage is there! See, stuff you see in TV is sometimes real!

After the thrill of the Brady house, we were on our way back to Chris' place. We picked up Ricky and met Laura at one of those Brazilian steak places, where they keep bringing you meat until you explode! It was a great way to end our big Hollywood tour day.
